Basement AC not blowing cold air.

As fate would have it, 10 days before I leave for AZ, my AC seems to have stopped working. Aside from the air not being cold, there is no puddle of water under the AC when it runs. (I am in NH and it is VERY humid)

I assume this means the compressor is not running (either of them?). However, I have only been able to test this running on my generator. If the generator is not pushing the right amount of Amps, is it possible THAT is the problem? The air blows fine, but seems to be blowing LESS strong? (Could be my imagination though)

I get 120v from the outlets so I know the gennie is working, but maybe it is not trowing enough amps?

I do not have a couple thousand to have it fixed and still make my trip. I am looking to diagnose and fix it myself if possible.

I can bring it to an RV park, plug it in and test it, but I want to make sure that is the right option before I waste any money.
