'99 Winnie Adventurer 30 Heater

Hi Winnie lovers,
I just bought this used RV and in excellent condition. The heater though was recently making a lot of noise then stopped working. I found someone to come look at it soon but he asked me which furnace it has. How do I determine this? The owners manual only says it's a 35000 BTU furnace. He also said to order a blower motor and composite blower wheel just in case he doesn't have that model on his truck. Also where is the furnace located?
Thanks,
Kellye

Well, part of this is easy. To find the furnace you simply look on the outside of the RV for the exhaust port or ports. There should be one or two ~2" round exhaust ports. The furnace is immediately behind the panel with the ports.

Do you have an Operator's Manual? That should tell you what brand of heater you have. The typical WBGO RV has a Suburban brand heater - but yours is 21-years old so it's not something I have any knowledge of.

I found a photo of a 99 Adventurer. The heater is on the passenger side, mid-coach, just below the RV fridge vent. It's on a removable panel so you likely remove that panel to get to it. OR it's in a removable wooden panel inside the coach under the refrigerator (or both).

Here's a photo. I circled the heater exhaust outlet.

It's a Suburban brand LP heater according to your Operator's Manual

Here's a link to the manual in PDF format. The heater info is in Section 8-12.

I think the furnace will be below the frig. Looking on the inside, you may see an intake air grill that is maybe 12-14 inches square? On the outside, there should be two vents that show up as possible flush with the wall and may be one metal plate?
Something looking something like this on the outside?
