Truma Aqua Comfort Water Heater

WELLLL, Here we go again:

2020 Winnebago Navion 24V on Sprinter Chassis

It was dark and I inadvertently turned the Truma Water Heater rotary switch to "DECALCIFICATION" instead of to the HOT WATER position. Switched the system "OFF" as soon as I realized the error of my ways.

Now, no Hot water, and the rotary switch blinks rapidly constantly. Book procedure for RESETTING the System is worthless.

Anybody out there in Winnie Owners Forum land have any suggestions on how to re-activate our water heater??? I would love to hear about anyone's experiences in similar situations.

I made the same mistake on a recent trip.The instructions in the link worked for me.

It's a pretty quick process, but you will go through some water.

Plus one on this stupid mistake. We had to wait a few days until we could connect to a water supply to complete the cycle. I was thinking there needs to be a disconnect of some sort to prevent this from happening.
