Keyless Remote

I just purchased a pre-owned 2017 Minnie Winnie 31K.....it has power door locks but it did not come with a keyless remote. Anyone know if I can get one? I have a call in to the local Ford dealer. But thought I might get a faster thumbs up/thumbs down from one of our own.

My sister's 2010? Access (Class C) is like that, power locks (in the cab only) and no remote. The little bit of research I did for her and my brother-in-law said that there wasn't an easy way to add a Ford remote to the system.

Given that the cab already has power locks, it wouldn't be too hard to add an aftermarket remote system, lots of options there. Adding a power lock to the side door would be more work. I added one on my Adventurer. Love it (also added a Ford Keypad - no more carrying keys), but quite a bit of work.

Talk to a stereo or security system installer. They may be able to add a keyless entry system with a fob pretty easily.
