Air Conditioner cycle on and off

I have a 1500 ac on my 2201ds Minnie. After turning it on using the thermostat
it runs, stops for a moment, starts back up. It might do this 5 or 6 times before it settles down and runs. Has anyone had this type of problem with their a/c
Thanks

Domentic air conditioner is cycling between low and high speeds if the Dometric thermostat is set to auto for fan speed. Mine does the same. I usually set fan speed to low so that it does not cycle between speeds or cycle on and off. Don't forget to set the thermostat back to auto on the fan speed if your going to use the propane heater.

I had this issue on a Class C we owned previously. I don't remember how we "fixed" it. I think we did as RDP suggested and put it on Low.

Our Class C was a Forest River and even though we bought it new and lost a lot of money we got rid of it in about 18-months.

The A/C was just one such issue. There are a great many others more serious than that.

I did a Google search on the topic and found my complaint of it on the forestriverforum.com. There were suggestions from others what to do so you may try doing a search.
