I have a 2016 View 24 J.
I have removed the plastic hose container and the compartment steel divider. Neither of any use.
I made a box from washable surface board. This houses sewer hose, gloves and sewage connection bend a connector and having bony knees - a kneeling pad.
When needed, the box is lifted out.

Several View owners have mentioned removing the sewer hose holder and recovering that space in its adjacent basement compartment. I've looked at mine and I don't believe in the 2019 24V model that you can remove the panel that separates the two. Maybe I need to look again. Don't necessarily need the extra room, but don't need to carry any unnecessary weight either.

Sewer Hose Storage

For my 2018 Navion 24V I removed the existing hose holder and the cover plate where the hose is inserted. Then I bought a section of 6 inch by 6 inch plastic fencing post from home depot and cut it in four sections that were connected at 90 degree angles to create a square shaped tube. I cut a slot in the bottom section so I could reach under and help push the hose through after inserting into the tube. The installation is a tight fit, but I am able to store my Rhino flex sewer hose in there now.
