2017 View 24J Water leak through dome light
I did search and saw others had this issue. I was able to fix it, hopefully for good, as the issue for me was the light that was above the cab. After a rain storm, you'd take a corner, and water would pour in from the dome light. I've attached where I found it. The previous owner had it caulked from Campers Inn in NH and they did a piss poor job. First I searched for the part and it was 182250-02-f20. It is $321 for a new one PLUS freight which is absolute extortion imo.
So what I did was peeled the old caulk off, sealed the hole that the wires were going through in the cab which had NO caulking. Then I resealed the cab light itself and the water has stopped. I also sealed a crack in the light itself which is what had me seeking a new light to begin with.
Hopefully this helps someone with the same or similar issue.
