I suggest the dark colors look fantastic when clean, beyond that they have little value. They are hard to keep clean. The wax or other coatings put on to make it look great will always need to be done in the shade, otherwise you will see every streak in it. If you do not have time to wipe it down you will see every waterspot. The dark colors absorb heat, light reflects.
My vote goes toward minimum Black, dark Browns, or Dark Blue. I went for silvers, light grays, and tan. I just wipe the lower panels with a damp rag at the campgrounds and wash the bugs off the front during most of our trips, then wash after our return. Some of our trips are for weeks at a time.
