Keyless door entry pad

I have a 2006 Itasca Meridan that has the keyless entry that operates the door and the bays. The system works fine. My concern is the potential of being locked out without my keys. I am wondering if anybody know of a keypad that can be attached to my current system. I would also consider replacing the current handle with a new keyless entry with the keypad built in if anybody has tried that. Last resort I guess I will find a place to leave a key or start leaving a window unlatched.

Thanks for any thoughts.

Wally

If it is a Trimark system you can call them and they can tell you what keypad will work. They are very friendly and helpful. You could replace the handle with one with the keypad in it.

Good idea and I will call them. Do you have any idea what replacement keyless locks would work?

Thanks again.

I am now working with Kevin at Trimark. He has keypads but doesn't know if they will work. The question is the keypad can be wired to the module. Now I have to find out what module number I have. I will let everyone know if I get this solved. I am still open for ideas if anyone has them.

Rvlock.com will have what you need. I've replaced my OEM with one of theirs and I love it.

I looked at their website and I didn't see a keypad. I could replace the door handle with one of their keyless entry locks but didn't know what the impact on the rest of my keyless entry system would work. How did you get around the original keyless entry system?

Thanks,

Wally

Kevin with Trimark looked at my photos and says he needs to see the operation and installation instructions to see if their keypad will work with the scs frigette system. I will go through all my owner's manuals and see if I have a set. If anyone is aware of these being online could you please for me the site.

Thanks,

Switching to the Trimark setup was a thing when SCS went out of business.

Winnebago instructions to update from SCS to Trimark

Googling "Winnebago Trimark SCS Frigette" or similar will find a few threads about people updating or changing theirs.
