1st Coach... New 2022 Forza 36H

Yep, we did it. Brought our new 2022 Forza 36H home yesterday. We're still in shock, that wr have a DP. Give us a wave if you see us rolling down the Highway.

Very nice, hope it's a joy to use and own.

One big issue for newer owners is the way the batteries can sneak up on us. they seem so simple but they tend to be a trick to learn a couple secrets that they don't tell us!

When we store the RV, we often see the battery disconnect switches and then we should turn them off when stored?
That implies that batteries will not drain as they are disconnected but it only disconnects PART of the load on each set, coach and chassis!
Be alert when storing as things can sneak up on us! The coach batteries will have safety items like CO and propane detectors, etc. still using power. The chassis side has things like automatic locks, radios preset and steps still prone to using power.
Running a battery flat and leaving it for a long cold winter can totally ruin the battery!
Watch them carefully to avoid expense!

Enjoy but stay alert?

Hi Snipechief,
Those yellow accents really look great. You are going to have fun with that motorhome!
Congratulations; Eagle5

Thanks everybody. We're currently outfitting it. I have about 1/2 of my garage full of stuff that came out of the 5th wheel we traded. Most of it is going into the Forza. Running on gunny power while we're doing this, and making sure everything is working. So far so good.

Hi snipechief,

Congrats on the new Forza and welcome to the DP world. It will involve a few learning curves but you'll love having amenities available as you travel down the road.

Congratulations! We bought the same model in the silver and blue this past May. We also went from a fifth wheel to the DP and have loved it. We had a class A before the fifth wheel and I’m happy to be back.

Two tips:
1. There is storage behind the fireplace but it is awkward.
2. Check the adjustable shelves in the master closet. Ours were cut a little too narrow and always fell when traveling. We just returned from the service center and they added about 1/4” to the sides and they don’t move at all.

Enjoy!
