I put a dab of silicone caulk on each tab. That worked for a couple of years, but I need to redo a couple of the ones that get brushed when we take stuff out.

Sorry Tom,,never want to do that..
Guess the silicone doesn't interfere with changing light bulbs..Darn covers fall off more than we would need to change bulbs...Thanks

The one in my electrical bay keeps falling off. I bought a new one while in Forest City, but it was the wrong size. I'll give the silicone a try on the old one.

I tried the silicon on mine but when you bump them they still fell off...in the basement and closets I went to the old trusted Duct Tape cut a few pieces about 1x2 inches and tape the lens to the white plastic case.. 2 sides.. Still on after 2 years. If you need to change a bulb just peel it off, and re-stick it. You can also get real fancy and buy the white to match!!! Where they're in the ceiling I used the Silicon
trick its a little harder to knock them off! You could also try running them under hot water and bending the ears so they fit tighter..

Thanks for all the advise. Ed, I like the duct tape idea. Now why couldn't I have thought of that? My Mom used to say "Two heads are better than one even if they are blockheads."
Thanks again and safe miles.

Yep! Run them under , HOT, HOT water...
Then bend the ears, tabs, clip-in edge whatever you want to call the things that clip into the light frame! It does work The problem is the light bulb gets to hot and the lens/cover gets soft.

The one in my electrical bay won't stay on. Have never turned it on but don't know about it before I took delivery. I will try the hot water and then the duct tape. I doesn't look like the cover aligns well with the base.
Thanks for the idea.
