Connexx DVD player not accepting a disc

My brand new 2022 Micro mini has a Connexx WMSDVDZ3 entertainment system that will not accept a disc. The user manual says once you enter DVD mode that the screen should say "LOAD" but that never occurs, and it will not grab and pull a dic into the player. Anybody have any experience with this? TIA

Dave: I don't know that particular model, but I do know the problem. There is a switch that makes on the mechanical disc loading section that tells the electronics the mechanism is in the correct position for loading disc's. If the switch is not made, it will never try to load. The mechanism may be jammed or just out of place. Have you tried hitting the eject button a couple of times to see if it corrects itself? If that doesn't do it you may need to take the cover off to see if the mechanism is stuck.

I’m a slow learner. It took me forever to figure out my DVDs wouldn’t load because the I/O switch on the lower left of the unit was not on. Then switch to DVD mode, and load signal activates. I hate the Connex unit. It’s a real POS.

Glad you found it and got it going. For what they charge for new RVs you'd think they could put a Bose unit in there or atleast an LG!
