Hi DeePatrick,
I have a close friend in a similar situation. At this time, I cannot find a purpose-built padded solar panel cover. What we are most worried about is tree limbs falling down and damaging the solar panels. I would recommend that you cover your panel with a sufficient layering of cardboard to provide impact protection, and then covering with the triple-covering method that I use. That method would be wheel covers and cardboard sheets on top of the solar panel, then a purpose-built whole-body RV cover, and then a lightweight over-the-top cheap plastic cover. That final cheap plastic cover should only cover the roof and a little off the edges, but not wrap the whole trailer.
Here is how I cover my Minnie Winnie 22M
Of course, in South Bend we don't get enough sunshine to think about using solar panels, but my friend is an optimist!
Thanks, Eagle5
