What are these eye straps / eyelets used for?

Hi,
It’s coming up on the 4th summer owning our 2001 Journey 36DL, and still Can not figure this out?

Anyone know why (2) of these are on the side of my coach? What are these used for?

Is there another on the rear of the RV? I have seen folks use a strap from one end of the awning to the far end as a way to reduce the flapping of the awning in wind. Does look like an added item, so figuring what other folks might value is always a big guess!
At the front, does it look like it might have held some form of windshield cover?

Thanks everyone! It must have been for a dog (or kid tie down, lol ) or something. Those are the only two, none anywhere else, so doubt it was tie down for awning. And wondered if it was somehow set to hold entry door open, but doesn’t make sense there either.
