Smile squeeeeeling fan motor dash 2015 vista 30t

Hi All!!
Please feel free to move this to the correct place if It is not where it should be.
From my research it would seem I need to replace the fan/blower.
I am trying to verify some info.
1. This fan was commonly used and if I have the motor numbers a parts store may be able to order it 3 times cheaper than Winnebago?

2. It sounds like it can be accessed and replaced by removing the lower carpeted foot board on the passenger side?

3. I have some mechanical skills, the problem usually is what is the best way to get at the part, do you need to remove the passenger seat I have not looked at it yet, any tips on its removal if I need to.
The service department is two months out so I will need to do this.

Thanks in advance!!!!!!!! shla

All is well, fan was very easy to get to and remove. On a scale of 1-10 it was a very easy 11
Purchased one from part store. It was a replacement for the original. $78

I had room after removing the kick panel even with the passenger seat still in place.

Yes on removing the kick panel. (I never replaced mine) Removal is an easy job. I didn't need to remove the pass seat, but it was tight, at 6 feet 200 pounds.

Once you get the number off the motor, it is very easy to Google the motor number and order at autozone or similar. It's a common part. The 2015 is probably has a metal blower cage. The motor bearings can't handle the weight of the cage, and most of them failed or will fail. The motor company blames the heater company, and the heater company blames the motor company. It's a joke.

The new cages which come already attached to the motor are usually plastic and much lighter.

As I recall, the motor with the cage was less than $40 from AutoZone, against $150 from Winnebago... also a joke!
