RV Cover Disposal/Recycle?

The time has come for me to give up attempting to patch my King Bird cover. Now I have a new challenge. I can't find any recycling center that will take the old cover. I hate the idea of putting it in a landfill. Anyone have ideas on how to dispose of an old cover?

How about putting an ad on Craigslist free section? I often find things that I pick up and also offer up things which are no longer what I need.

I make lots of small projects of concrete and hate to buy new lumber, so used wood fence sections are often just what I need. I cut it down, use what I need and pass the scraps along as campfire wood!

RV covers can be repurposed for lot of covers for smaller things or used in various other ways like cleanup for leaves or drop cloth for painting. Being material that doesn't rot too quickly, they make good strips to tie up plants like tomatoes!

Just use care and put out the personal info at a level you feel is safe! My phone number is out all over the world, so I let them call me or use the Craigslist contact method and once we have contact, I set it out for pickup, etc.

Put it out there as Landscape Protector. You guys get a little more frost and snow than the RGV.
I use an old awning cover to protect the little bit of green that I have.

Fold it neatly and lay it on your front lawn, with a for sale sign. If no-one buys it perhaps someone will steal it overnight.

My wife just pointed out that we should have kept our cover for when things freeze up and she has to cover the plants!
She did not accept that we should have a smaller flower bed!

I'm assuming there will be another surprise soon as they come along every ten years or so and they say the power will stay on this time just like the last few times!

Maybe we should loan our cover to Ercot?

I have a bag full of the cinch straps with the snap buckles from an old cover that I’ve repurposed and use for holding things in place when traveling.
