MWH System 2002 Winnebago Journey DL Pusher

HELP !!!!!!!
Recently I blew a hydraulic line that appears to feed only the wardrobe slide out. The line runs from under the slide out forward to what appears to be the pump. The living area slide out was also affected, but I am assuming that is due to a low fluid level in the system. It dumped out a lot of fluid near the ruptured line. I have not tried the leveling jacks to see if they too do not work. Both the slide outs and the leveling system are manufactured by MHW. I am replacing the broken line but I need verification on a few items.

(1) Is there only one pump that works both the slide outs and the leveling jacks?

(2) If so, is the reservoir in the rear the only one?

(3) When the hose is replaced do I have to bleed the lines (like car brakes) or does just cycling the jacks, up & down, and the slide outs, in & out, purge the air from the system? If the lines need to be manually bled, where is the bleed location(s). Obviously I have to monitor the fluid level as to not "suck" additional air into the lines.

OH YEH!!!! If you are wondering both slide outs are partially out!!!!
Thanks in advance for your help. Gary

The manufacturer is HWH (not MHW). According to the info on this 2002 Winnebago Systems Diagrams page on the HWH site this should be the hydraulic diagram for your HWH jacks and slides: MP69416. And this should be the electical diagram for the same: MP89470. (However, the hydraulic diagram shows three slides, not two, so they may actually be pointing to the wrong diagram(s). You may need to contact HWH (or Winnebago) to verify.)

The reservoir and pump is one unit that operates both systems. It looks like the system is on the driver's side just forward of the left rear wheels.

The reservoir 'in the rear' with the engine is your power steering reservoir--nothing to do with the HWH system for jacks and slides.

The system should be self-bleeding.

Chris:
Thanks for the info. It confirmed what I suspected. I got it fixed. Had to replace 1 line. I made it longer to make it easier to route instead of putting it back where it was originally. Also you caught my TYPO ( MHW)!!!!!
