It seems to be plastic and listed as 11/4 inch. That looks like a pretty standard plastic plug, so I would expect it to move reasonably easy as it doesn't rust shut like metal.
We would first try either a pipe wrench turned sideways or channels locks, depending on what we had handy.
If no good that way, I would move to a 1 1/4 socket to get a better grip down in any hole it sets in? Socket is nicer for less scarring the plug! But the plug is likely to be easy to find if you do finally tear it up.
