CAT3126 overheat warning in error

Have an oil leak in compressor line. My normal diesel repair shop does not have the manpower/equipment to fix. So I have to drive a ways to some other shop. Problem is the oil leak is fouling the computer engine plug and causing false overheating alarms. So to drive any distance, 30-50 miles, I am hoping for a way to disable the warning system.
Any similar experience? Suggestions?
