I'm hoping someone can help me with this issue I'm having. I have a 1984 Winnebago. I'm new to RV life, enjoy very much. My problem is that I was reversing yesterday and a belt snap. Went to auto part store bought a new one put it on. Then went to get groceries and a smog belt snapped. Can anyone tell me why this is happening so I can fix the problem please.
On another note I also need to know how many amps my alternator need to be on my 454 motor.

Two things that I've found break belts, age and something like an alternator or water pump getting bad bearings which creates too much drag when turning.
