2020 Outlook 22c roof sealant question

Brand new 2020 Outlook 22c purchased 5 months ago. Wondering what type of black sealant is used on the roof to seal skylights, etc? See attached photos. Also, I noticed “masking tape” at various spots on the roof after taking delivery. Anyone know why either the manufacturer or dealer would use masking tape on a motor home’s roof seals? To identify something, or hold on the roof? Just kidding but seriously wondering why it is there. Thanks for the input.

Instead of guessing why not look at the Sealant guide for your model and year in the winnebago.com Owner's Tools section.

I just looked it up for you and it's 311 Self-Leveling Silicone and the roof edges.

It looks like they use black on the roof edges and white on the shower skylight according to the callout sheet.
