I plan to tow a flat bed lightweight open car hauler and car (lets say around 5500lbs total between car and trailer).
The E350 Chassis GVWR is 11,500 and the GCWR is 18,500.
The E450 Chassis GVWR is 14,500 and the GCWR is 22,000.
Am I miss-understanding the towing capacity or does the E450 only tow 500lbs more?
The rear GAWR is 7,800 for the 350 and 9,600 for the 450.
Thanks in advance everyone!

I owned a Class-C Itasca Spirit 22R (E350) and now own a Spirit 25B (E450). Your numbers above are correct, but your math concept is a bit off: 14500 GVWR doesn't mean your actual RV weighs that much, only that it's the maximum it can weigh. My Spirit 25B (E450) weighs around 10,700 lb., fully loaded, plus my weight and my wife. My previously owned Spirit 22R (E350) was approximately 9,900 lb. plus my weight and my wife.
Besides GVWR and GCWR - check the actual hitch behind the RV, and see what it says. I think mine says "maximum towing 7,500", but some say "5,000", so that would limit your towing capacity regardless of GCWR allowance.
