In your original question you did ask why I did what I did and what I did which I explained. The converter does convert Digital signal to Analo g TV's and on that point you are correct.

Today I installed my converter above the Winegard Switcher and it works just great. I am using the Zenith DTT900 and the programming and picture is great even though I only receive 9 stations right...
