Count me in very happy, took ownership 11/11/11 and have 18,000 miles on it, camped for 428 days in 84 campgrounds so it is well used.

We are in our 3rd class a Winnebago product. We were and are happy with their product and would purchase another if needed. I have had great response from the help line and have been to the Forest City for excellent service. Bottom line "we are Happy Campers".

Another happy winnie owner - bought new in November of '04, so in a few months will be ten years. It's a great coach. I keep thinking I want a DP, so I look thru the ads for similar year Journey/Meridian and it amazes me all of the components in them are the same as what I have in my 31' gas unit - appliances, furniture, windows, fixtures, etc. I've always thought I got a DP quality unit with a gas-powered chassis.

About 32K miles now, weekends and vacations. I think I'll keep it for a few more years 'till retirement is close and then get the DP to move into for travel.

I will say though that my sis had two Tours - 40 and 42 and had so many problems they traded them off and went Entegra. Smaller company, a LOT more $$, but more attention to detail and higher build quality.

I would be willing to look at Newmar, Tiffin, and Country Coach as an alternate manufacturer for a more high-end motorhome. For a common camper-RV I don't think any of the others can rival Winnebago. You get a LOT for the money invested.

We love our 35-J Sightseer, we bought it new in '08 and it still looks brand new. Winnebago support and documentation has been second-to-none.

Very happy with the three I've owned. 1973 Brave, 1976 Brave and 2005 Sunrise. No I did not have the 76 until purchase of 05. Had many fun trips in the three and problem free as for needing warranty work. When issues popped up I rolled up my sleeves and did my own minor repairs. Sometimes I think people expect these coaches to be problem free for years. Question I like to ask them is what repairs are needed annually on your S&B that never travels the roads. Crap happens but usually it can be repaired with common tools and not much time or money; with a great feeling of how I'm taking care of my coach.

Last week purchased a Newmar and hope it performs as well as the Winnebago's.

We have been motorhoming since 1985. We have had a variety of Class A coaches, three of which have been Winnebago/Itasca. We are very satisfied with our current coach, and have no plans to trade again. (Well, how often have you heard that?) We have had bigger and smaller, and this one is about the right size for us.

Bought our Itasca Ellipse new in 07 and have been very happy with both the rig and the customer support.

Having said that, I evaluate these things on a relative basis. Yes, we had a list of issues which needed fixing but the factory/dealer took care of them for us in a timely manner. From what I read here on the forum, I come away feeling good about the fact that I bought a Winnie product.

Very reliable MH and one of the best companies as far as support. Ours is 11 yrs. old now and when I contact them with a question I always hear back from then in the 2 day time frame that they promise.

Our first RV was a 2006 Winnebago Aspect 26A. It was a great coach and we enjoyed it for many years. We were very satisfied, so much so that we traded it in on a 2014 Itasca Cambria 27K. I hope to be happy with it too, although I am apprehensive given what appears to be an uptick in QC issues. Hopefully those fears remain unfounded and we get many, many happy years out of our new 27K.

Winnebago Lovers Forever

On our second Winnebago MH. 1st was a cute little '99 Rialta, (amazing features for a small coach), but very unique. Loved that ride. It was just too small for long term living with my wife and 2 standard poodles. Bought a new 2014 Itasca Sunstar 31KE in August of last year, (still rookies), and experienced some shakedown problems but nothing that couldn't be fixed. No cost to us on any of the items. We have put 10K miles on it since August '13 and are looking for a Meridian 36M or Journey 40U due to floor plan needs, (only reason we are looking for another MH), but you can bet your boots whatever it is it will have the Winnebago name on it, period. We love our Bago products...

Bought a 2002 Horizon 7 years ago and have never had a trip without some problems (20000 mi). I have 2 lined pages of things that went wrong. Thank goodness I'm handy with some things but it's getting old. Amazingly I have made an offer on a 2004 Horizon and am willing to start all over again. I think I'm co-dependent and need some abuse to complete my life LOL. Please help me ;<)

I, like you, am very happy to be a Winnebago owner. The company and its partners have been extremely helpful when needed, and courteous.

I posted this some time ago http://www.irv2.com/forums/f101/one-...an-177518.html

Basically saying the same thing as you have stated so well here.

We have a 2009 Adventurer and have been very happy with it. No serious problems yet and we have lived in it for the past three winters,(Dec-Apr), with a lot of dry camping. All systems have worked nearly perfect.

We are still happy and enjoying our Vista today as mush as the day we got it. We are very satisfied with the treatment we have gotten at Forest City for the minor service needed.

We are also very happy with Winnebago/ Itasca products. We enjoyed a 2001 Winnebago Adventure 35u for a year then a 2006 Itasca Suncruiser 35a for a year and a half and now a 2013 Tour 42qd for 16 months that has been 12,400 miles and camped 177 nights without ever going to a dealer for repair.

Had our Vista for a year now and love it. Couple of minor warranty issues that the dealer took care of but other than that a solid rig for the price!!!
We are very happy with it!!!

First Winnebago was a new 1975 Brave, several Winnebago units over the years owning a 2003 40'KD Ultimate Freedom now and having for sale a 2005 36G Journey. Winnebago is a solid vehicle and the company is the finest in the industry.

After 1.7yrs and 34,000 miles,my wife and I are very "Happy Campers"with our Vista! The few problems we had after purchasing were expertly taken care of at no cost at Forest City. I am certain we would purchase another Winnebago product,in fact....I secretly long for a 2013/14 Journey 34B, though I'm not quite ready to make the jump so to speak....I've looked at Tiffin,Fleetwood,Coachmen, and others, and I firmly believe Winnebago's materials and construction are superior! Travel Safely!!!...........Tom
