ON THE OTHER HAND....
A complete new paint and 4 layers of clear coat look pretty good ! I might leave it as-is without badging.

No grey in it. I can't remember the color scheme but it's various flavors of Browns heading a little toward cops in the lighter shades

A place out in Santa Clarita, CA. called Final Touch. It's an RV body and paint shop with a 50' hepa filtered paint room.

I'd be interested to know if they can somehow etch or prep the existing 12 yr old (in my case) clear coat and apply new clear before the underlying colors deteriorate???
I know there's lots of small cracks in the clear that's over the black on my coach......and if they could be striped of wax and dirt, a new clear would seal and protect for hopefully another 12 yrs.

Well... Probably the best thing to do is check with them.. The rear cap had burned clear and they were able to sand and re-clear the entire thing. The side was completely different as the cracking/ crazing was coming from the siding and frankly the finish was lousy from the factory. It was sanded all the way to the base, re-primed with fiberglass impregnated primer, painted, and 4 coats of clear on the side and rear cap. If this one fails I'm going to shoot the coach and put myself in the line of fire first. The good news is that this is warranted as long as I own the coach. I had them do the upper roof curves when they burned about two years old. That job still looks better than the day I bought it.
Why Winnebago can't learn how to paint an RV I'll never understand. If CDI can't do it right, then find someone who can.
