Wingard In Motion Connection?

I have the above satellite dish on my (new to me) 2007 Adventurer and I want to hook up our DirecTV receiver. But I cannot find how to hook it up? There is a power switch in the cabinet above the passenger seat to turn on the dish but I see no way to connect the receiver to the dish. There is a connection close to the video switch box that I assume will allow me to connect from the receiver to the video switch box but I cannot find a cable in that area from the dish?

Anyone else have this setup? My owners manual shows info for the King Dome but that is now what I have. Previous owner had paperwork for the Wingard but no documentation on how to hook it up. Sadly the previous owner is not available for me to talk with.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

CamperDC There should be a wall plate that looks like the one below. Looks like it is above and to the left of the video switch box. The cable shown in the drawing are connected to the back the wall plate. You have to add the cables from the wall plate to the sat receiver.

Thank you grtharris, I saw that plate but for some reason just assumed it was for connecting the sat. receiver to the video switch box only. I got out the tool box and took a look inside the compartment above the passenger seat and noticed the cable from the antenna had orange tape. I found the same cable connected into the plate you mention above on the first connector. Not sure why I did not look at that closer.

Anyway I connected it all up and I think it will work just fine as soon as I can figure out how to configure the sat. box to the In Motion dish. I think I will need to contact either Wingard or DirecTV to get help with that. Seems clear to me that a total upgrade to the video system in the coach is on the horizon.

Thanks for the reply.

I see the same setup in my unit. The dish doesn't to to run correctly, and some have said it needs to be updated to work. I talked with a man in m.b. who has the same unit and year, and his works fine from the day he purchased it new, and has never had it updated, just so you know.

I was finally able to get on the phone with DirecTV tech support and they confirmed the settings I needed on the Sat. receiver and although we could hear the Sat dish whirring up on the roof trying to establish a connection with the Sat. but it could not lock on. Turns out there is a big tree in the way at the campsite and it seems satellite tv is not going to be an option for us while at this campsite.
