Since I had the camera out I thought I'd post this. It's a typical key-safe that happens to fit around the steel square stock in the front of the coach (Meridian). It holds a complete set of keys, including those for the toad locks and ignition with room to spare.

Where did you find that key holder and how do you open it?

It looks to me like the kind of lock realtors use on homes they have listed for sale and that are hung on the outside doorknob. These usually have a simple combination to open them up and I would think you might find them at a Menards or Home Depot. If not I would check with a local realtor to find out where they get them.

That's exactly what it is, and avaliable at Home Depot for about $30. Here's the lock with the combo lid open:

I've used the outside fridge access to store a spare set of keys in all my RVs starting in 1973. Only takes a coin to access and some of our traveling friends know they're there and can access the coach in an emergency if we are not out.

Well I have to be honest. I store my spare keys in my wife's purse along with all my pills and all my money goes in and through there.

I have a similar combination safe that is attached to a metal surface inside the propane compartment. Because that compartment is never locked the key holder is available in the case of lost keys or company arriving when we are away from the RV.

These key safes are available online or at Home Depot or Lowes....
