TST Tire Sensors on Toad?

I have the TST brand non-flow through style tire sensor kit left over from towing a trailer. I'm thinking of using them on our toad now that we have a Motorhome. Has anyone successfully used them on rubber valve stems? I'm concerned about the extra weight causing the stem to leak from road/wind vibration.
