Yes, absolutely could have put it under the bed. My brothers RV has it under the bed. Along with the 120 volt electrical panel which I didn't think was very smart.

If a drain valve is open, there will be a puddle of water under the RV because they always drain underneath. Do you have a puddle of water under the RV?
