Is it any better than the True Air 6636-345 most of the Coleman heat pumps have? We have replaced ours but with the newest model at the time a couple of years ago.

If it works like our basement air the electric heat will only work for a couple of degrees. If you set it for say ten degrees above the room temp it will automatically run the gas furnace. What I do...
