Placed the fan on the flange, wired it up and installed the interior trim ring. It works great and is a huge improvement of the little "computer" fan.

I removed most of the old Dicor and Eternal bond...

I removed most of the old Dicor and Eternal bond and chose to use Butyl Tape under the MaxAir fan flange. I screwed it down with the provided screws using the factory holes in the flange. LOL

It was actually easier than I thought it was going to be, though it appears they sealed the prior fan flange with double-sided eternal bond. Funny they didn't actually use the holes in the flange...
