Hot Water Drain

I recently installed the Camco Hybrid Hot Water Heater and they provided brass fittings, I don't think galvanic corrosion is an issue with two non-ferrous metals.

I would go with a brass cap and drop an O-ring into it to seal it up, wouldn't need to be much more than hand-tight. An O-ring would work with the plastic cap as well.
