I was running it through the generator, which can be a problem child. I use a gallon on a nearly empty tank, then top the fuel tank up. I was paying about $32 a gallon the last time I checked....

I usually pour a gallon or so of Seafoam in mine right before the last fillup of the season and make sure I run the generator for a good hour to pull that...
