After towing with a dolly I switched to flat tow....

After towing with a dolly I switched to flat tow. Ready Brute Elite 2, base plate and wiring harness came to around $1600. I self installed it on my Wrangler.

If you have a good quality, modern MPPT solar charge controller then I would recommend the BIM. If you have a cheap controller then I’d upgrade with a DC to DC.

Thanks for the tips. Particularly the drip rail area. I knew Dicor isn’t spec but I had a tube and figured it couldn’t hurt while on the road. I’ll pull it off and redo when I get home. Thanks again.
