Ok, I found the converter. It is under the oven in my unit. Unplugging it allowed the breaker to stay on so I think the converter is toast.

be warned: even though the manual says "double...

be warned: even though the manual says "double din" it's not. You will have to cut the dash to fit. Not a huge deal, but you have to be "all in" on it!
