2011 Tour how to play tv thru the dvd sound system

Ok first I am pretty much technology illiterate. When I play a dvd it goes thru the surround sound, but I can’t get the TV to play thru that same system?
Any ideas would be helpful.

UPgrade - DOWNsize

We have Sunova 30A and we love it just the right size for 2 people and 2 small dogs, it is a 2015. Has 2 slides a booth and a recliner. Drinks for 6 Dinner for 4 and sleeping for 2.
