Side window blinds

Hi thanks for welcoming me.
My question is we have front and side window blinds in our motorhome love them, but I don't like the noise the side ones make, I'm thinking of replacing them with the silver insulated ones that just put up when stopped.
Can anyone advise me as I'm not sure. Regatds greatgrandma

greatgradma-

I think you'll find using the "put up, take down" shades more work than the shades that are in your coach already.

My coach's side window shades rattled when the side windows were open and the coach was going down the road. I put a little foam tape in a critical area and that noise went away.

Some questions are below. Your answers will help us give better advice:

1) What year, make (Winnebago or Itasca) and model is your coach?

2) What manufacturer and model are your side shades? If you don't know, then it would help for you to post a picture or two of the shades here.

3) Are you asking about shades on the passenger and driver side windows?

4) What kind of noises are the shades making? Does it make those noises going down the road, when stationary, or both? With the windows open, closed or both?

Hello, since you own a Jayco Conquest Rv you may have better luck getting relevant info at the Jayco owners forum. Here’s a link:

https://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/

And since you are located in Australia you may find even better answers at the Australian Jayco Owners forum. Here’s a link to that site:

https://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f...ing-58790.html

I’m not sure if your 2018 Jayco Conquest is even available in the US under a different name. Australia usually has unique caravan models that are not available in the US.
