New Coach - Horizon 40A

Hello All. We are Don and Sheila from Davenport FL during winters and On The Road during summers. We traveled (8000+ miles) last summer and had a great time in our Forza but decided to go full time so we stopped at a dealer on our way back to FL and purchased a Horizon 40A. Loved the modern look of the unit but the terrific ride and handling made the decision easy. Have been rving since early 80s and have experienced many unique events from wonderful places and ppl to disappointing road experiences that rattle the nerves. But would not trade the rv experiences for anything. Meeting new ppl, visiting new places, seeing amazing areas and being free to do and go what and where we want. Life is grand especially in our new rig. Hope to meet many of you on the road.

We are considering full timing in the horizon 40a or 42q. I would love an update on how it is going in the 40a.

Don,

I will be picking up my new Horizon 42Q on Tuesday (4/14/20). Anything special that I should look for as far as issues you have noticed on your new rig? The dealer is 6+ hours from my home so I would like to get as many problems fixed as I can when I pick it up.

Thanks!

We are 2 delighted campers in our 40a. Must admit I was concerned about not enough space, but we are 1 day from departure and everything fits in perfectly. Tent, sewing machine and fabrics, electric cooking units, and more. We travel from mid April thru beginning of Nov and I'll let you all know how it goes on the roads. First stop winnebago to fix things the selling dealer screwed up.
