There is a sticker on the bed that says the murphy should be down before traveling. It takes a bit of a pull to get it to come down so I can't see it coming down on its own, especially with the couch there. Has anyone traveled with it in the up position?
OP - It might help if you told folks the model year for your trailer. They changed the Murphy bed design in 2021 (split mattress) so the answers might be different depending on the design.
