Hi!

I just bought a 1979 camper. I don’t actually know anything about RVs but I’m super excited about my camper! My family was hardcore into tent camping but my dad’s too old to sleep on the ground and I have a toddler son, so the only way I can share camping with them both is by getting them real beds. Any advice about forums/clubs for owners of old Winnebegos? My camper is in great condition on the inside - even has the owner’s manual! The outside is pretty beat up like it was left outside for some storms. So I need to get the lights working before we can take it on the road and I’m worried about finding new light cases - the old ones are cracked and have holes and stuff. Thanks for any advice!

Welcome to Winnie Owners, we are glad you joined us.

When you have the time, completing a signature with the year make and model for your RV can help others to help you if and when you need it. And you can do that here;
