Welcome. Buying it in the dead of winter probably means you were able to get a good deal.
I assume by 35, you mean 35U. I have a 2002 Suncruiser 35U so I've probably dealt with a number of issues that you might be facing. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions. I thought mine had been pretty well cared for until I had it home for a few weeks. Two things you might want to check out:
1. HWH (slides and jacks) had a problem with defective hydraulic hoses in the early 2000s. I've had to replace four. Look for signs of hydraulic fluid leaks at the ferrules where the fittings are attached to the hoses.
2. Read up on the Winnebago windshield leak issue and, if you have signs of any leaking, take care of it ASAP. One of the POs (previous owners) had the $2,000 repair done on mine but it had started again. Eternabond tape across the top of the windshield (outside) took care of it.
IMHO the 35U is one of the best floor plans Winnebago has produced.
One of the best mods we've done is to replace the old reclining sofa with two, electric leather recliners. In addition, we replaced our old flooring with luxury vinyl tiles and commercial quality carpet tiles.
It's a good idea to list your rig details in your profile and also set up a signature with the year and model (see mine). That way, when you post a question, readers will know without your having to remember to put it in each time.
