2020 View - Noise between the Roof Cap and Frame

We recently started experiencing a noise (rattle) in our 2020 View. This happens when we're on rough roads and at a higher rate of speed (55+). Probably due the lifting created by the wind speed. After first taking it to the Mercedes dealer they found there was a bolt that had sheared between the roof cap and the upper passenger door frame. We then went to the RV dealer and they inserted a couple of new screws. It helped but did not totally solve the issue. Has anyone else had this issue or tried using a bonding agent between the Roof Cap and the van frame?

Thanks, John

Hi John,
I am not seeing any posts that seem to address your loose roof cap issue. Perhaps try JB Weld Original Formula and get high-strength bolts with the largest fender washers you can fit in there. You also mentioned screws somewhere; don't know about those.
I am sort-of guessing here; can you provide picture(s) of the subject area?
Welcome to the forum.

Hi Eagle 5,
Thanks for the recommendation. I'm going to have the dealer take another look and also offer your suggestion.

Thanks again, John
