Small access holes to grey and black tank

I am a new Winnebago owner and purchased a used 2016 Forza 34T. I disposed of the tank hoses because I wanted to purchased the newer Rhino hoses that looked more durable. I threw them in the storage area and checked it off my list. I happened to go out their just to make sure the hoses connected correctly, and was surprised that they didn't fit through the access hole. I considered removing the ring for the access cover, but that would leave the area exposed during travel. Do I need to go with a cheaper and smaller hose, or is there another fix to this issue?

I'm not sure of the brand but found the same question on my hose but the solution was just cutting the "ears" off the fitting. Just enough to clear! Smaller hose may still have to have the large fitting to meet the valve but there may be smaller fitting designs on some????

ksherwood-

First off, welcome to winnieowners!

Second, you should add a signature to your user profile. It usually includes the year, make and model of your coach, but can include other information. A signature is appended to each post. To create/edit a signature, click on the "User CP" link in the orange bar at the top, then click on "Edit Signature."

Re: The sewer hose problem on your Forza. This thread from iRV2 will be right up your alley:

Need to find a sewer hose that fits out the wet bay opening

My post is #5.

The best answer is from a couple of posts, which is to use a two-foot "compartment hose."

Thank you. I thought of this right after I sent the thread. I can see now that there isn't a structural reason to have the tabs that large, and they are not needed to attach. I can't return them, so will try this tomorrow as I have nothing to lose.
