Hi!
The new bright and clean interior design of the Forza is great.
This also applies to the new loft bed.
First of all: You will sleep very well on the very comfortable mattress even people who are 6'5" tall.
Unfortunately there are one or two disadvantages compared to the previous loft bed versions:
- Primarily, the space up there is lower, which initially causes a somewhat cramped feeling for adults. It starts with "climbing in" and the few inches difference is noticeable.
- An additional window (for example in the storage compartment on both sides) would give a much better feeling and space up there.
- However, the storage compartment at the head end of the bed "swallows" the pillow "all the time" (you need a second and third pillow to fill the space).
- The feet may touch the WiFi amplifier and the sockets. In this case a slightly different placement of these devices and the sockets would be advantageous (e.g. in the storage compartment above the windscreen or above the TV), also in view of the fact that children sleep up there.
- The angle of the ladder should be reconsidered, it is a bit too flat and: In the first version (2015), the bed could be lowered so far that an adult person did not necessarily need a ladder to "jump into bed" or get up.
But basically, after the first night, one got used to it and as mentioned: The sleeping comfort is already good with the standard mattress, the bed is stable and at least in the width there is enough space up there, so that one can also turn.
The mirror above the driver's seat is a smart idea.
Personally, I wouldn't drive with the bed lowered, but this is possible without any restriction in terms of headroom for the driver and passenger during transit. Just mind your head when getting up.
