Ljowdy, you didn't put me to sleep. I enjoy reading about mods. It gives me ideas of some mods I may want. Our Journey could use a ceiling fan in the living room and i have given it some thought. I have plenty of time to add this one. Thanks for posting.

WOW, stupid me, I totally forgot to mention the MCD shades. Our 2010 Tour came with MCD power shades (day and night) on the windshield, drivers side window and the entrance door. (2011 models came with MCD shades on all windows, I think)

I measured all the other windows and called MCD and ordered all the shades to replace the pleated shades that came with our coach. All of the shades in the front part of the coach are power operated via a remote control and I was able to get 12 volts by tapping into reading lights and drilling some holes to conceal the power wires (bedroom back are manually operated) I have a master remote to control all the shades and a couple of slave remotes. What a difference in the appearance, privacy and shade created by the day 80% shade screen. It took about 1/2 hour each to install after I ran the lines for power. MCD was a great bunch to work with and my order arrived at an RV park were were staying at for 6 weeks the summer of 2011. I had all the tools I needed to install the shades and really wasn't a difficult task.

(I think that's about it)

I was thinking that the wife is even higher maintenance than the coach!

Great info. I have a fan on order for the living room.

Add some led strip light to the closet and control it with a switch and motion control.

Just took out all of the day night shades and installed venetian blinds. Much better now.
