There have been a few threads here about replacing the fresh water pump with a better pump with more pressure and volume. What pumpis it?

Shurflo 5.7 and you may have it as standard equipment in your coach. If not the 5.7 is about $200 but often on sale at Camping World for $170.

...and if you replace a smaller volume pump with a 5.7gpm pump, make sure you also buy and use the larger "Extreme series" filter that goes in the water line right before the pump.

Adrian - one of the first things I did was to remove the flow restrictors in the shower, the galley sink and the bath sink. If you have the SureFlo 5.7 it does put out a pretty good flow at a decent pressure without restriction.
The obvious downside of removing the restrictors is of course while boondocking - you are going to go through the water supply at a much faster rate so water discipline is important.

Thanks guys. I have the 5.7 pump already. I have removedthe restrictor in the shower in the formof the on/off buttonup at the top. I will have to disassemble the sink faucets to see where the restrictors are in them.
Thanks

Adrian
I have the 5.7 pump and did not remove flow restrictors from any of the faucets. However, another "restriction" I found in my nice Moen kitchen faucet is little blue silicone particles that were not flushed out when the plumbing was built. I have it all solved but the hot water flow, which is barely above a trickle. I have finally decided I will have to remove the faucet entirely to see if I can blast it out with water or compressed air. I bought the tool from Moen to remove the faucet, but haven't got around to it as yet.

Where is the flow restricter located in the shower?

I made the mistake of purchasing the Shurflo 4.0 pump which is the little brother of the 5.7. Now that pump sucks, as the original pump did almost as well. I was so ticked about this pump I swore not to buy another Shurflo. I instead purchased a Aquajet (can be seen at the web site http://www.rvwaterfilterstore.com/Pumps.htm ). I have been very happy with this pump, and it was very easy to install.
