Now that you have all of the basics upfront, I will explain why I have to sell this beast.
I had every intention of living full time in this rig after renovating it. I went all of the way to South Carolina and drove this 'Bago all the way home to Luling to start my biggest renovation ever. I had big plans to take it out on the road and see the country this summer. Bittersweet news for the Bago, because I got a job offer in Grand Rapids, Michigan starting this summer and I can't take the RV with me, feasibly (No second driver, can't afford storage, and I won't be able to take off from work for a good 12-15 months to enjoy it). So one of you will have to pick up where I left off.
The previous owner had said that there had never been a leak. After getting it home and starting the remodel 6 months ago, I found that was not true. 3 panels had to be completely ripped out and we hung new luan, seamed, sealed, and painted. Later when we got to ripping out the linoleum floor, I was forced to open the subfloor in spots and add 2 support beams. Then I laid the laminate and trimmed.
I have put a lot of hard work, blood, sweat, and tears into this motorhome. My goal this summer was to paint the exterior and get the cab re-carpeted, but that's not in the cards, I guess. I have prepped the cab floor with rust stop enamel. I picked a color that matches so carpet is not even a necessity.
I’m asking $13,500.
If you are a serious buyer and would like to see the RV please email me so that we can schedule to meet.
