I am purchasing a 2021 Winnebago Micro Minnie 2108FBS and want to replace the radio antenna with one that will fold down for winter storage in order not to damage the antenna or the cover. What antenna (exact name and model please) should I use? I do not want to replace the cable so I need the correct model that the cable will fit correctly. Any suggestions? Winnebago is of no help whatsoever.
No idea of a specific antenna to recommend but I have dealt with changing antenna on trucks where they get knocked off fairly often. Since they are often built as part of a unit, one solution is to cut the coax, add BNC connectors to connect old cable to new for ease of replacing the next time.

I currently DO NOT have one!
my 2018 MM came with antenna with a screw at base. loosen it and it folds flat. I did have to replace it with a lock nut, and the factory nut loosened and fell off.

I would remove it entirely as opposed to flat. Flat could beat against the roof surface.
