Grand Design Travel Trailers

I hope it's okay to start a new thread about Grand Design since they are owned by Winnebago.

We are in the market for a high quality travel trailer and wondered how happy Grand Design owners are with their units, as well as what changes folks have seen (or have heard are coming down the pipe) in the Reflection or Imagine travel trailer lines since the purchase by Winnebago?

I've heard lots of good reports about their products. Current Winnebago trailers came about in 2012 after Winnebago bought the Sunnybrook brand back in 2010 (I believe). Quality begat quality.

Of course all discussions on Grand Design are welcome! Owners, future owners or just wannabe owners from any/all Winnebago subsidiaries are welcome.

My traveling buddy has the Grand Design Imagine 2600. He really likes it. His microwave died and Grand Design mailed him a new one to his house. They just wanted him to cut the cord on the old one and email them a picture of it. His roof AC unit quit working and they are replacing it under warranty. They seem to stand behind their product.

Check the cargo capacity on the trailer you choose. Some of Grand Designs trailers don't have much cargo capacity after you fill the water tank.
