View Bed sizes 24M vs 24D

I seem to remember speaking with an owner of a 24M who said that the pull out couch bed is longer and wider than the 24Ds Murphy bed. I can not seem to find any truth to this. Anyone on this website jknow of truth to this rumor?

When shopping or trying to figure out details of this sort, there may be a really great tool online. The "interactive parts catalog" lets you do all kinds of things from looking at floorplans to "looking through walls" to see where and what size holding tanks!
Maybe check this for the specific year, make, model and even build date if getting close to buying. Checking the 7th digit of the RV serial number for being 1 for early or 2 for later build for each year can get down to any small changes thay may have made. They tend to have early and late in many years/models.
Not the VIN but serail number from the label near the drivers side!!

I see some specs for things but not sure of which RV, so I will let you study it further?

I find this info for the 24D model on one year and likely not to have changed, but I'm not finding the 24M on the year I have looked? Perhaps a different model year?

Yes It is strange.... I see that Wnbgo used the 24M designation for Itasca Navion and '15 and under Views. I do not see the 24M for View or Navion when the floorplans changed for '16 model year. I will check earlier years as I do not believe they changed bed size for the couch.

Yup I read into that schematic with my cheaters on and can see the Murphy bed is shorter than the pull out couch by about 5 inches.
